History of Institution:

Education in India is seen as one of the ways to upward social mobility. Good education is seen as a stepping stone to a high flying career. Education System in India currently represents a great paradox.

Teaching is among one of the noble professions in India. Behind every doctor, engineer, lawyer lies the hard work of a teacher, who grooms them during their academic career, to excel in the profession chosen by them. Teachers not only impart quality education to the students, but also inculcate moral values, sense of a responsible citizen and a good human being. In order to become a proficient teacher, formal education and training is required, which is possible through Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course, a one-year programme for graduates.



Mission & Objectives:
  • To develop an understanding of the aims and objectives of education in the Indian background and to promote an awareness of the role of school and the teacher in realizing these aims and ideals.

  • To develop an understanding of the close relationship between society and the school, between life and school, and between life and school work.

  • To enable the pupils to receive the right education from dedicated teachers under dynamic administration.

  • To orient the student to develop strong character. self realization, integrity, fellow sharing and a sense of duty towards society and the nation.

  • To empower women through technical, social and culture education.

Vision Statement:

Raghukul College of Education is an institution which wants to create a homogeneous synthesis of real 'Gurutva' with freqrence of tender love and an urge to in inhibit knowledge in the 'Shishya' (Pupils). The word ‘Raghukul’ in itself denotes a paradise which consists of illumination for high moral values, dedication for work and worship, commitment for high objectives with, sense of secrifice for nation and the motherland alongwith human beings and humanity. ‘Raghukul’ is a dynasty which bestowed upon us our God of the nation 'Maryada Puroshottam Shri Ram'. Raja Ram, an incarnation of God Almighty, had a great privilege to take 'Siksha' (EDUCATION) as human being by his birth, in the lap of 'Guru Vashistha'- A Guru greatest among the greats on this mother earth so far. This is the VISION what our ‘Raghukul’ should be. We know, the path to enlighten the vision with its inheart objectives to achieve is to go for an infinite long way distance. You strive with all your energies of mind and heart to reach the destination but you always remain short of that tremendous wisdom and war spirit to arrive at it. Hence is will ever remain a DIWASWAPAN (unachieved dream) to be a RAGHUKUL of GURU VASHISTHA and RAJA RAM- The GURU and The SHISHYA.

However, your every effort with your commitments and dedicated sense of duty takes you nearer and nearer the concept of Gurukul which we want to conceptualize in our Raghukul, of course step by step. We know we are human beings and human is always to err and even if our errors are endless, our efforts have also to be endless to reach near and nearer to this eventual concept. We know that we can not produce a Ram or Krishna, A Dronachrya or Arjun in our institute but our dedication with association of various technological gadgets and other methods, we can certainly produce such GURUS who may spread the light of knowledge with their sense of humanity when they go for service in the society at large.

Contribution In the Field Of Education

Accordingly, the two- year B.Ed. course aims at in knowledge and skills, in individual care of the learner and also in methods and evaluation designed to facilitate learning. This course is divided in to two parts. It aims at developing understanding and competence to render disciplinary knowledge of teaching- learning situation apprehended through intensive study of conceptual explanations, observations and analysis of live classroom situations as well as hand-on experiences and longer duration of field experience. Interactive processes, i.e. group reflection, critical thinking and meaning-making have been encouraged. The maturity of students-teachers has been kept in mind while visualizing modes of learning engagements, instead of continuous teacher monitoring, greater autonomy to learners has been given in accordance with and ragogic principles of learning. The syllabus retains the essence of student- teachers being active participants in the learning process and prepares the student-teachers for facing the emerging challenges resulting out of globalization and its consequences.
The institution tries its best for the effective implementation of all the curricular and co-curricular aspects of the course. All the theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum are taken in to consideration while implanting the curriculum for effective implementation of all the curricular and co-curricular aspects of the course, a Meeting is held before the beginning of new session and a outline of the academic as well as co-curricular activities is framed for the whole session. The annual calendar is made so that it becomes easy to plan and implement various curricular aspects. While planning this frame for activities every aspect is kept in view so that the curricular as well as co-curricular as well as co-curricular activities can be held smoothly without disturbing the planned routine.
